Doorkeeper Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes doorkeeper's policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information. We receive your information through our web sites, APIs and third-parties ("Services"). When using any of our Services you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information about You

To register an account we only ask for your credentials.

In order to join any of the event groups we host, additional information may be required, depending on the event organizers' requirements. This usually includes a valid email address and your name in order to identify you at the door and to be able to contact you.

When signing up or attending an event, we collect additional information relevant for the event organizers to manage the event, such as when you signed up or checked in.

Other Information

Our servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Services. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, the referring domain, and pages visited.

Like many sites on the web, we use "Cookies" to store information in your browser. The purpose of those Cookies is to identify you after you logged into our web sites.

Third Party Services

We use Google Analytics to help understand use of our Services. Google Analytics collects the information sent by your browser as part of a web page request to their service. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for their use of this information.

Information Sharing

With the event organizers of any event group you joined, we share the following information: the Personal Information you provided to us; your intend to attend an event; whether or not you attended (if the event organizers use our service for check in). Each event group may have it's own Event Group Privacy Policy which governs their use of this information.

Further, we may disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect our rights or property.

Besides the points given here, we will not disclose your Personal Information.

Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via an e-mail to the email associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
